Optoma Store Return Policy
Optoma offers a 14 day return policy. Within 14 days from the invoice date, Optoma will, at its option, either replace the product or offer a refund. Lamps and refurbished projectors are not returnable for credit. After this 14 day period, the product is covered under the manufacturer's warranty policy.
Return Procedure and Policies
If a product is unopened and in its factory sealed packaging, it can be returned to Optoma for a full refund within 14 days from the invoice date. All non-defective returns without the original box, used and without all the original product packaging and accessories are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
No returns will be accepted on projectors with more than 10 hours of usage.
All products returned must be in their original packaging and must include all accessories (cables, remotes, manuals, etc.). If any accessories are missing, the return will be rejected or a 15% restocking fee will be charged.
All shipping charges are not refundable.
To return any item, you must have a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. To request an RMA number, please contact Optoma Customer Service at 888-289-6786 or email email@example.com.
The RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the returned package. Packages will not be accepted without an RMA number appearing on the outside of the package.
All RMA numbers are only valid for 30 days. If an item is postmarked after 30 days from the date the RMA was issued, the item will be refused.
All returns must be shipped freight prepaid. You should also insure your shipment. Optoma is not responsible for any shipments that are damaged or lost in transit.
Refurbished projectors have a 90 day warranty. (Consumable items including lamps are not covered under this warranty; however a 30-day DOA (Dead-On-Arrival) policy will apply to these consumable items. Refurbished projectors are not returnable for credit. Some refurbished projectors may have minor blemishes and may not include the same accessories as new projectors.
Lamps have a 90 day warranty. During this 90 day period, defective lamps will be replaced. Lamps are not returnable for credit.

Optoma’s products are designed and manufactured in accordance with and/or above industry standards and have passed various verification tests and certifications. These include but are not limited to: UL (for safety), ROHS (for environmental safety) and FCC (to verify EMI/Radiation is within standards). In addition, our factory is ISO 9000 certified to ensure high standards in manufacturing.
